What SearchEd is

SearchEd is a free, public directory of Pennsylvania and North Carolina and Delawarepublic school teaching jobs. We aggregate job postings that school districts and their hiring platforms already publish openly, and we link each listing out to the district's own application system. SearchEd is not the employer, is not a recruiter or staffing agency, and is not the system you apply through. Every hiring decision, application process, and communication about a job happens between you and the district.

By using SearchEd, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Accuracy of listings

Listings come from third-party sources and are refreshed on a regular schedule, so details can be out of date, incomplete, or removed by the district after we last checked. Always confirm a job's status, requirements, and deadline on the district's official posting before relying on it. We don't guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, or still open.

Service provided "as is"

SearchEd is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SearchEd and anyone involved in operating it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from any listing, link, or job outcome.

Acceptable use

When using SearchEd, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically copy the site or its data except as permitted by our robots.txt.
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or to abuse the sign-up, alert, or contact features.

Accounts and job alerts

You can browse SearchEd without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Job alerts are emails we send only for the searches you save and opt into; every alert includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms. How we handle account data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party links

SearchEd links out to district websites, application platforms, and other third-party sites. We don't control those sites, don't endorse them, and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, practices, or privacy policies. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Advertising

SearchEd may display third-party advertising to support the free service. Ads and any related data practices are covered in our Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for the content of ads or the sites they link to.

Intellectual property

The SearchEd name, design, and original site content belong to SearchEd. Job posting details are the property of the districts and platforms that publish them. You may link to SearchEd pages freely.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use SearchEd after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to these terms or your use of SearchEd will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
