Position: Special Education Teacher (multiple vacancies) Location: Vacancies District-Wide (elementary & secondary) Employment Status: Permanent/Contracted Positions & Long-Term Substitute Positions Available Certification Required: Special Education, PK-12 Salary Information: Per BEA Contract (Bachelor's Step 1: $51,907) The Butler Area School District is searching for special education teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Vacancies include both elementary and secondary, in the areas of: itinerant special education, autistic support, life skills, and emotional support. Both permanent and long-term substitute positions are available. The Butler Area School District requires all permanent new hires to be dual certified or to become dual certified within one year of employment.
