IMMEDIATE VACANCY LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST (SHORT TERM SUBSTITUTE POSSIBILITY OF LEADING TO A LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE ) (Posted November 6, 2026; Removed 11/12/26 or Until Filled Thereafter) An immediate short term substitute Library Media Specialist position (possibly leading to a long term position) is available in the Nazareth Area School District, with an initial assignment at Nazareth Area Intermediate School. Pennsylvania required certification: Library Science PK-12 This position has the responsibility to promote the library media center as a literacy and technology hub for students, staff, and parents. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Manage the library collection •Teach and assess library, literacy, and research skills •Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver inquiry-based learning experiences •Assist building staff in implementing "best practices" of technology integration into the curriculum •Assist building staff in the implementation of STEM / STEAM projects and assignments All candidates must submit an application and all necessary documents through Frontline.
