Substitute Teachers Looking for a flexible way to stay connected to the classroom and make a difference for students? Come be part of the Panther team! Schuylkill Valley School District is seeking PA-certified Substitute Teachers to work across the district on an as-needed basis. Only available one or two days a week? No problem! Substitute teaching is a great opportunity to choose the days that work for you while helping provide consistency and a positive learning experience for our students. Daily Rates$160/day for substitute teachers $170/day after working 10 or more cumulative days during the school year, retroactive to the first day worked $195/day for substitute teachers retired from PSERS Qualifications A valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate is required. We are looking for dependable, collaborative educators who enjoy working with students and are ready to step in and support our schools when needed.
