Position: Long-Term Special Education Teacher Paramus High School Effective Date(s): November 9, 2026 through January 15, 2026 school year Job Goal(s):To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher. Reports To:Principal/Vice Principal, Supervisor of SPS Employment Terms: Per Diem Position; as needed position Qualifications:A regular New Jersey teaching certificate or a substitute teacher's certificate issued by the County Superintendent. Teacher of Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification preferred. Successful prior experience as a classroom teacher. Demonstration of familiarity with school, philosophy, program and policies. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
