Position Details

Overview Oradell Public School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and collaborative educator to serve as a Kindergarten Leave Replacement Teacher from December 2026 through April 2027. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of our youngest learners. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Experience using assessment data to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs Knowledge of early literacy and foundational mathematics instruction Ability to build strong partnerships with families to support student learning Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the school community Commitment to student success and continuous professional growth Proficiency with instructional technology Experience with Fundations preferred Qualifications Valid New Jersey teaching certification appropriate for Kindergarten Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field Preferred Experience Successful teaching experience at the Kindergarten or early elementary level Knowledge of developmentally appropriate early childhood instructional practices Experience implementing differentiated, small-group instruction Salary Range: $58,500-73,230
