DIRECTOR OF THE COMMUNITY SCHOOL (FAIR LAWN PUBLIC SCHOOLS) (12-Month/Full-Time/Non-Affiliated) 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR DISTRICT We are presently accepting applications for the following position. DIRECTOR OF THE COMMUNITY SCHOOL (FAIR LAWN PUBLIC SCHOOLS) QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree Master's degree in education or related field, preferred Education administrative certificate, preferred Experience in elementary and/or secondary school settings, preferred Experience in recruiting, supervising, training and evaluating employees Experience designing, coordinating, and managing daily program schedules, activities, and curriculum Demonstrate an ability to manage budgets, set registration/fee schedules, oversee fee collection, track revenue, and monitor operational expenses Strong leadership in handling student behavioral issues, emergency protocols, and student welfare Expertise in maintaining student records, enrollment lists, attendance data, and ensuring strict compliance with local, state, and school district policies Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with parents, district staff, community partners, and external vendors Certifications: First Aid, CPR and AED Starting Salary: $128,000 - $142,000 (non-affiliated contract) Benefits: health, prescription, dental and vision Fair Lawn Public School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
