POSITION: Library Science Teacher -Secondary (2nd semester only) Long Term Substitute LOCATION: Holicong Middle School AVAILABLE: January 25, 2027 - June 11, 2027 COMPENSATION: Salary according to CBEA contract or LTPD rate DESCRIPTION: CBSD is accepting applications for a PA certified Library Science teacher. The successful candidate will possess excellent instructional skills to engage students in the areas of information retrieval/evaluation through traditional and emerging technologies and literature appreciation. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to collaborate with academic teams and individual teachers, and have a high level of knowledge regarding library media, technology, literature and research methodology. Must have strong interest and enthusiasm in promoting reading and information literacy. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy, knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards and sound understanding of how to prepare, direct and guide instruction.
