For the 2027-2028 academic year, Morris County Vocational School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time, tenure track, Teacher of Automotive Technology. Candidates holding a CE, CEAS, or Standard certification in Automotive Technology are encouraged to apply. ASE Certification required. Exceptional knowledge of industry-standard safety requirements, and the ability to run a safe automotive technology classroom. Strong subject matter and NJSLS knowledge. Ability to differentiate instruction based upon individual student need and interest. Skill set in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and implementing a variety of pedagogical strategies. Experience utilizing data to make informed instructional decisions. Strong classroom management and communication skills. In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $67,110 to $110,885. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, prescription, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, sick, personal, bereavement, and family illness days.
