High School Special Education Teacher Middle Township High School | Full-Time, 10-Month, Tenure-Track Position Start Date: January 4, 2027 Salary Range: $66,318 - $98,294 (in accordance with negotiated agreement) Benefits: Medical and prescription coverage, dental coverage, NJ pension, sick and personal days, optional 403(b) and FSA accounts. Middle Township Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified High School Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment that promotes academic and personal success. Qualifications: Valid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification (or Teacher of the Handicapped certification). Appropriate New Jersey instructional certification. Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and special education best practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. Experience working with high school students preferred. Responsibilities: Provide specially designed instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Develop and implement instructional strategies aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers, child study team members, and support staff. Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation. Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
