Athletic Director

Position Details

The Hempfield Area School District is accepting applications for a permanent, full-time 12-month Athletic Director. Qualifications: Bachelors in Sports Management or related field, Master's degree, preferred. 3-5 years’ experience working as an athletic director or related field, preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: all essential duties and responsibilities of the Athletic Department, as well as, the usual scheduling of practices, games/matches, tournaments, transportation, officials, coach evaluations, discipline, mandated coach trainings and certifications, selection of coaches, advertising and promotion of athletic program, supervision of coaches and volunteers, coordinate website and social media accounts, general accounting and human resources related duties.
