Special Education Teacher - K-4 Learning Support Qualifications An active Special Education PreK-12 or Special Education PreK-8 Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in: Differentiated Instruction Mastery Learning Student-level data analysis and interpretation Classroom Technology Integration Structured Literacy and the Science of Reading Inquiry Based Learning Being a Team Player, Problem Solver, and Life-Long Learner Criminal Record Check (less than one year old) PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old) FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old) TB Test/Physical (less than 3 months old) Job description A special education teaching position, focusing on providing instruction to students in grades K-4, at Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center is available Prior experience as a special education teacher is preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills.
