Anticipated Vacancy: Speech and Language Specialist (Leave Replacement) Effective Date: February 16, 2027 - June 30, 2027 Certifications: NJ State Approved Certifications: Speech and Language Specialist Certificates of Clinical Competence/ CCC-SLP Terms: Leave Replacement Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in the school setting Ability to use reflective practices to improve and support instruction Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in the field of speech-language pathology Knowledge of Child Study Team/Special Education law, code, and compliance Effectively apply the principles of assessment, treatment and case management of speech/language and hearing disorders Strong interpersonal and communication and organizational skills Work cooperatively with grade level teachers and peers. Demonstrate strong speaking and writing skills Work cooperatively with grade level teachers and peers Salary: Salary Guide Step 1: BA $58,197 MA $60,613 MA+30 $63,029 *Salary will be prorated Benefits: Prorated paid time off Community: The Freehold Borough Public Schools is a Pre-K � 8 District in Monmouth County, NJ with a diverse student population of approximately 1,400 students.
