Randolph Community School - After Care Counselor - Summer 2027 REPORTS TO: Community School Program Manager SUMMER 2027 DATES and TIMES: June 21 - August 13, 2027 (No camp on July 5) 5:00pm - 6:00pm COMPENSATION: $20.00 per hour GENERAL DESCRIPTION: After Care Staff are responsible for providing a safe, supervised, and engaging environment for campers during the after-camp hours. Staff members ensure campers end their day smoothly by engaging them in quiet activities such as coloring, board games or reading. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers during After Care (5:00pm�6:00pm). Greet parents upon arrival, check camper out and maintain accurate attendance records. Maintain visibility and awareness at all times. Monitor age-appropriate, quiet afternoon activities such as coloring, board games, or reading. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, guardians, camp staff and program/assistant managers. Follow all program policies, including emergency procedures and behavior guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience working with children preferred. Ability to supervise groups of children in a structured environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
