Opening for the 2026-27 School Year Description: Director of Special Services Requirements/Performance Responsibilities: New Jersey Principal Certification A minimum of five years' experience as a Child Study Team Member or Special Education Teacher or Student Services position Special Education experience in administration or alternatives that the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of special education law, code and guidelines Oversee the district special education programs, child study team, school nursing services, and other areas as directed Responsible for state and federal reporting, IDEA, SEMI, and ESSA Familiar with Frontline and Genesis platforms Primary responsibility for all child find activities and community outreach programs Knowledge in developing and implementing in-district programs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Start Date: As soon as possible Salary Range: Please see attached salary guide Closing Date: Until Position is filled Application Procedure: Apply online EOE/AA
