Supervisor of Special Education

Position Details

LMSD is hiring a Supervisor of Special Education. This position will support students district-wide with a primary focus on students in grades K-3 and Early Intervention. PA Certificate in Supervisor of Special Education (PK-12) or Principal Certificate (PK-12) required; Master's degree or higher in education or special education with 5 years of prior administrative experience preferred. Proven strength in leadership, interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills required as well as demonstrated depth of knowledge of state and federal laws. Experience with curriculum/PA standards and staff development preferred. Strong organizational, time management and computer skills required. This posting is subject to close anytime at the discretion of the district. This is a full-year, LMOSA ("Act 93") position with compensation and benefits consistent with the LMOSA agreement.
