SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST (LEAVE REPLACEMENT) 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR (Dec. 2026 - June 2027) FAIR LAWN HIGHSCHOOL We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper N.J. certification. SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST (LEAVE REPLACEMENT) QUALIFICATIONS: NJ Certificate: School Psychologist Bachelor's degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, special education, or other related field Master's Degree from an accredited college or university Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations for special education, psychological testing instruments, functional behavioral assessments (FBA), and crisis intervention strategies Deep understanding of PRISE (Parental Rights in Special Education) and due process rights in New Jersey Ability to use IEP management software (e.g., Frontline/IEP Direct, EdPlan, Realtime) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace software Strong ability to explain complex psychological data to parents and teachers in accessible language Ability to conduct culturally responsive evaluations and work with diverse student populations Experience working with at-risk students with social and emotional needs Case manager training or experience, preferred Experience with child study team and cognitive testing Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Knowledge of curriculum modifications Salary range: $64,000 - $117,380 (click on the following link for the full salary schedule: Fair Lawn Education Association) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance Fair Lawn Public School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
