BOARD OF EDUCATION of the MAGNET SCHOOLS in the COUNTY of MIDDLESEX NOTICE of OPENING 2026-2027 SUPERVISOR OF TECHNOLOGY Brief Description: The Board of Education of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently seeking applications to fill the position of Supervisor of Technology for the 2026-2027 school year. This will be a twelve-month position. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Supervisor of Technology assists in coordinating technology and telecommunications in the district and supports the efficient use of technology to support the schools' curriculum and data and information functions. DUTIES: Coordinates technology and telecommunications for the assigned schools. Assists in selecting and installing computer hardware, software, and network systems. Maintains district computer hardware and network systems in assigned schools. Assists in coordinating the design and operation of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). Assists in planning, organizing, and delivering in-service training. Monitors equipment utilization and provides scheduled maintenance to reduce downtime. Recommends hardware and software upgrades. JOB DESCRIPTION � SUPERVISOR OF TECHNOLOGY (continued) Assists in development of budget recommendations for the district. Assists in writing specifications for equipment and software purchases relating to technology. Maintains records of computer and network hardware and software inventory, acquisition, maintenance, and upgrades in assigned schools. Assists in the requisitioning and monitoring of the installation and repair of computer hardware, network, and ITV equipment. Assists in participation in the activities of educational organizations and appropriate in-service opportunities to facilitate professional growth. Assists in the design, installation, maintenance, and scheduling of ITV studios and services. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent or designee. Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and professional credentials.
