Learning Support Teacher

LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER Current Assignment: Learning Support Middle School The Long-Term Substitute Teacher provides instructional continuity during the extended absence of a regular teacher by assuming the full responsibilities of the classroom assignment for a minimum of 90 consecutive days. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction, assessing student learning, maintaining grades and student records, managing classroom behavior, communicating with parents/guardians, and performing the professional duties of the regular teacher to ensure a safe, positive, and effective learning environment. Education and Experience:Pennsylvania teaching certificate is preferred; candidates holding a valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate in another certification area may also be considered. Bachelor's degree required; degree in education preferred. Valid Driver’s License Preferred. Must pass all background checks.
