Position:Teacher of Special Education 2026-2027 School Year Location:Monroe Township Middle School Qualifications:Must hold appropriate New Jersey teaching certificate; highly qualified Science or ELA preferred. Previous experience preferred. Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon learning styles. Knowledge of middle school philosophy and department structure. Ability to use formative assessments to collect and analyze student data to monitor and track student growth. Proficient in the use of instructional technology. Responsibility:To provide an approved special education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help pupils develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members. Follow best practice strategies within Applied Behavior Analysis. Availability:January 4, 2027 through June 30, 2027 Salary:Following the established MTEA Salary Guide ranging from $54,047 to $98,247 based on experience.
