Long Term Substitute for School Social Worker Qualifications: Valid NJ Educational Services Certificate (School Social Worker) Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education and demonstrated ability to effectively provide social evaluations Experience with IEP Direct/Frontline IEP a plus Serves as a resource to students and parents to provide counseling that will lead each student to increased personal growth, self-understanding, and behavioral management; serves as liaison between home and school. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrate an effective ability to work as a team member Demonstrate an effective ability to complete paperwork in a timely fashion as regulated by district and state Experience with preschool, preferred Bilingual, preferred Mandatory criminal history background check and P.L. 2018 c. 5 clearance Employed through the district's substitute company ESS
