Temporary LTS Reading Specialist Teacher

Temporary Reading Specialist (LTS for remainder of the 2026-2027 school year at West Point Elementary School) Requirements: Valid PA Reading Specialist or Elementary certification, The Reading Specialist provides specialized instructional support to improve students' literacy development and reading achievement. The Reading Specialist works collaboratively with classroom teachers, special education personnel, administrators, and families to identify students' literacy needs, provide evidence-based reading instruction and intervention, monitor student progress, and support the implementation of effective literacy practices throughout the school. The Reading Specialist may provide direct and/or indirect services to students and staff and assists the District in developing and implementing a comprehensive, standards-aligned literacy program.
