Math Intervention Specialist

Extended Substitute Teacher Current Assignment: Math Intervention Specialist Middle School The Extended Substitute Teacher plays a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the learning process in the absence of the regular teacher. This individual is responsible for creating lesson plans, submitting grades, managing classroom behavior, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students, and communicating with parents. The Extended Substitute Teacher is in a single assignment for at least 20 days but fewer than 90 days.Pennsylvania teaching certificate as required by assignment preferred. Pennsylvania teaching certificate in area outside of assignment may be accepted. Bachelor's degree in education or a related field required. Strong classroom management skills. Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and grade levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Must pass all background checks. Employment will be through STS The Fleetwood Area School District (FASD) contracts with the Substitute Teacher Service (STS) to provide substitute teachers for the district.
