School Counselor Long Term Substitute

North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill a School Counselor Long-Term Substitute position at North Allegheny Senior High School, effective January 12, 2027-June 1, 2027. The School Counselor serves in a leadership role to coordinate and consult with the school community as it pertains to students' social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Assists the professional teaching staff and administration in developing sensitivity to and in identifying the particular needs of individual students. Collaborates with staff to build a caring and supportive climate within the school and advocates for all students. Creates and maintains good relationships with students, parents, other staff members and relevant agencies. Master's Degree and Pennsylvania School Counseling Certification K-12 are required. Current clearances are required and include: Child Abuse History Clearance PA Criminal Record Check FBI Fingerprint Clearance Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
