Director of STEAM

REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent SUPERVISES: All certified staff within department areas JOB GOAL: To provide leadership and supervision within areas of responsibility. The Director of STEAM: Science, Math, Practical Arts, and Fine Arts, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned Science, Math, Practical Arts, and Fine Arts curricula, and providing effective leadership in planning, implementing, articulating and evaluating the effectiveness of those assigned programs; successfully aligning them to district objectives and state and federal mandates. QUALIFICATIONS: New Jersey Principal or Chief School Administrator Certification Instructional Certification Successful Criminal History Clearance. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization. Minimum experience as determined by the Board. Salary: per BHAA negotiated agreement and BHBOE Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
