5th Grade Teacher

Lower Merion School District is hiring a 5th Grade Teacher at Welsh Valley Middle School. This 5th Grade Teaching position will provide ELA and Social Studies instruction. K-6 Elementary OR Middle Level Certification Grades 4-8 (All subjects 4-6, Social Studies 7-8) and Grades 4-8 (All subjects 4-6, English Language Arts and Reading 7-8) is required. Out-of-state educators should explore PA's reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students required. Good standing relative to Act 48 credits. Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire) This is a contract position starting in the 2026-27 school year. Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
