Anticipated Special Education Teacher – Multiple Disabilities Classroom

Salary Range: $60,742.00 - $69,542.00 Benefits Offered: Medical, Prescription, Dental Requirements: Applicants must be certified to teach elementary Special Education Experience working with students with multiple disabilities and/or autism preferred Direct instructional experience working with autistic students, students with significant cognitive needs, and lower-functioning students preferred Strong understanding of delivering direct, differentiated, and individualized instruction for lower-functioning learners and students with complex cognitive needs Excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills Patience, flexibility, creativity, and a student-centered approach Commitment to supporting students with diverse strengths and needs This position is in accordance with the JEA contract
