Leave Replacement K-8 Physical Education/Heath Teacher (November 30, 2026 - February 5, 2027)

Replacement Position: Physical Education/Health Teacher - Grades K-8 (November 30, 2026 - February 5, 2027) Position Purpose Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. Requirements New Jersey Instructional Certificate - Teacher of Health and Physical Education (CE, CEAS, Provisional, or Standard) Ability to instruct students in grades K-8 Willingness to work with students at all levels in a gym and classroom setting Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for Comprehensive Health/PE Knowledge/experience with Google Apps for Education Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus) Successful clearance of criminal history FLSA Status: Exempt Non-tenured / Replacement position
