Special Education Teacher

Wind Gap Middle School in the Pen Argyl Area School District is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This person is responsible for the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and for supporting student success through effective, inclusive instructional practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in co-teaching and collaboration with general education teachers and related service providers. A solid understanding of upper elementary and middle school learners, along with the ability to apply evidence-based instructional practices to meet the needs of students with IEPs, is essential. Effective communication with families and a commitment to fostering student achievement are also critical components of this role. We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented professional who is dedicated to high-quality instruction and is willing to take an active role in supporting a collaborative school environment. Salary will be in accordance with the current salary schedule. Benefits are in accordance with the teacher contract. Application deadline is October 12, 2026.
