Wilson School District is seeking a dynamic, visionary instructional leader to serve as High School Principal. Salary & CompensationSalary Range: $125,000 – $165,000 (commensurate with experience) Benefits: Competitive Act 93 Agreement package Status: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Director of Secondary Education Key Responsibilities Educational Leadership: Establish building goals, initiatives, and strategic planning aligned with district vision. Oversee curriculum development, master scheduling, and student programming—including gifted, special education, and summer offerings. Staff Supervision & Culture: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate ~150 direct and ~50 indirect staff members, including Assistant Principals, teachers, and support personnel. Lead recruitment, orientation, and continuous professional development. Student Success & Environment: Cultivate a safe, positive learning environment. Oversee student attendance, guidance, testing programs, discipline, and extracurricular activities. Operations & Safety: Manage the building budget, facility safety, emergency preparedness, and administrative reporting. Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, local organizations, and community partners to support district objectives. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field. Certification: Valid Pennsylvania Administrative Certificate (Principal). Experience: Minimum of 10 years in public education with secondary teaching experience. Assistant Principal or administrative supervisory experience is highly preferred. Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, organizational acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-level decision-making demands. Clearances: Required PA State Police, PA Child Abuse (Act 151), FBI Fingerprinting (Act 114), and pre-employment medical exam per PA School Code.
