Title I Teacher (.6 Part Time) - Anticipated Opening

Qualifications: NJ Elementary School Teacher K- 5 Certification Ability to provide targeted, data-informed instruction to small groups of students in mathematics Ability to monitor progress and collaborate with classroom teachers Experience delivering Title I Interventions, using evidence based instructional strategies Supporting elementary students with diverse academic needs Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal *This position is for the 2026-27 school year only and is dependent on the receipt of Title I funding All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered. It explicitly prohibits such employers from hiring a person serving in a position which involves regular contact with students unless the employer conducts a review of the employment history of the applicant by contacting former and current employers and requesting information regarding child abuse and sexual misconduct allegations.
