Learning Support Teacher

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER Current Assignment: Learning Support Middle School The Learning Support Teacher provides specially designed instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position focuses on supporting students’ academic achievement by addressing individual learning needs through targeted instruction, accommodations, and modifications within both inclusive and small-group settings. The Learning Support Teacher develops, implements, and monitors individualized instructional plans; collects and analyzes student data; and collaborates with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated and effective support. The Learning Support Teacher promotes student independence, skill development, and meaningful access to the general education curriculum within a positive and inclusive learning environment.Minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree Valid PA Teaching Certificate as required by assignment.
