Long-term Substitute (LTS) 6th Grade Teacher

Qualifications: Elementary K-6 or Grades 4-8 certification Position has a focus in English Language Arts Duration: Approximately October 19, 2026-April 1, 2027 Additional Information: The teacher is responsible for the delivery of the curriculum. This individual must demonstrate competency in child development and educational best practices. The teacher must be an instructional leader who is student-centered, able to create and foster a conducive learning environment for students, plan Standards-based lessons, deliver differentiated instruction, utilize various assessment practices to inform instruction and engage in continual reflection of teacher effectiveness. This individual is expected to participate and engage in school community events, professional development and contribute to the profession in an effort to continually grow and learn to refine instructional practices.
