High School Principal

The Warren Hills Regional School District has the following position available for the 2026-2027 school year: High School Principal Warren Hills Regional School District is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the next Principal of Warren Hills Regional High School. We are looking for a visible, collaborative, student-centered leader who will build upon the strengths and traditions of Warren Hills while helping lead the High School into its next chapter. The successful candidate will have a strong instructional foundation, high expectations for students and staff, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to bring people together around a shared vision for student success. The High School Principal serves as the educational and organizational leader of Warren Hills Regional High School and works collaboratively with the Superintendent, Chief Academic Officer, district administrators, faculty, staff, students, families, and community. Qualifications • Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate • Master's degree required • Successful administrative experience at the secondary level • Principal or assistant principal experience strongly preferred • Demonstrated instructional leadership and knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and effective teaching practices • Experience supervising, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff • Strong understanding of high school programming, scheduling, student services, discipline, school safety, and extracurricular programs • Demonstrated ability to use data to improve student achievement, attendance, engagement, and school climate • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the broader community • Commitment to high expectations and opportunities for all students The Successful Candidate Will • Be a highly visible and accessible presence throughout the High School • Establish strong relationships with students and staff • Foster a positive, safe, inclusive, and academically focused school culture • Lead and support high-quality teaching and learning • Maintain high expectations while supporting the needs of the whole student • Recruit, develop, support, and retain outstanding faculty and staff • Use student achievement, attendance, discipline, and other data to drive continuous improvement • Support a comprehensive High School experience encompassing academics, athletics, arts, extracurricular activities, career pathways, and student services • Communicate openly and effectively with families and the community • Work collaboratively as a member of the district leadership team • Support districtwide goals, initiatives, and strategic priorities • Bring energy, integrity, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to the Warren Hills community Position Information Position: High School Principal Position Type: 12-Month Administrative Position Anticipated Start Date: To Be Determined Salary: $135,000-$150,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience Application Deadline: Friday, October 16, 2026 at 5 PM Application Requirements Interested candidates should submit: • Letter of interest • Resume • New Jersey Principal Certificate • Transcripts • Three professional references • Any additional materials required through the district's online application system Warren Hills Regional School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
