Interim High School Principal

The Warren Hills Regional School District has the following position available for the 2026-2027 school year: Interim High School Principal Warren Hills Regional School District is seeking an experienced, student-centered educational leader to serve as Interim Principal of Warren Hills Regional High School during a leadership transition. The successful candidate will provide consistent and effective day-to-day leadership while supporting a positive school culture and ensuring continuity for students, staff, and families. The Interim Principal will work closely with the Superintendent, district leadership team, and High School administrative team throughout the transition period. Qualifications • Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or appropriate administrative certification • Successful administrative and leadership experience at the secondary level strongly preferred • Prior experience as a principal or assistant principal preferred • Demonstrated ability to lead and support faculty and staff • Strong knowledge of secondary school operations, student discipline, instructional leadership, school safety, and student support systems • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community • Demonstrated ability to provide stability, sound judgment, and effective leadership during periods of transition Responsibilities The Interim Principal will be responsible for the overall leadership and daily operation of Warren Hills Regional High School, including: • Providing visible, student-centered leadership throughout the school • Supporting a positive, safe, and inclusive school culture • Supervising and supporting faculty, staff, and administrators • Overseeing student discipline, attendance, and school operations • Supporting teaching, learning, and established district academic initiatives • Communicating effectively with students, staff, families, and district administration • Working collaboratively with the Superintendent, Chief Academic Officer, and district leadership team • Ensuring continuity of established programs, procedures, and district priorities • Performing all other responsibilities associated with the position of High School Principal Position Information Position: Interim High School Principal Anticipated Start Date: On or about October 1, 2026 Duration: Until a permanent High School Principal is appointed Compensation: $525-$575 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications Application Deadline: Until filled Application Requirements Interested candidates should submit: • Letter of interest • Resume • Copy of New Jersey administrative certification • Professional references • Any additional materials required through the district's online application system Warren Hills Regional School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
