TRENTON BOARD OF EDUCATION ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER Position Type: Full-Time (10-Month Employee) Salary Range: $71,525-$117,475 annually Benefits: Eligible for Medical, Prescription, Dental, and enrollment in the applicable NJ State Pension Program Union Affiliation: Trenton Education Association (TEA) QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification. All certificated positions require a valid certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE). REPORTS TO: Building Principal PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students. Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals. Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct. Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
