Date: July 28, 2025 From: Office of Superintendent Subject: Vacancy Position: Long-Term Substitute- 5th ELA and Social Studies- Intermediate Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey Responsibilities: Develops lesson plans and prepares for the daily instruction program Evaluates student progress and provides progress reports as required Strives to maintain professional competence Identifies pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff members and assists in assessing and helping pupils with school related problem Enforces school rules, administrative regulations and board policy Maintains communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members in order to best serve the interest of students Maintains a safe and orderly work area Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee Qualifications: Appropriate New Jersey State Certification REQUIRED 1 year of experience desired in Elementary Education field. MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect Terms: Salary, terms and conditions as per PEA contract Salary Range: $67,055- $94,219 Applications are accepted on-line only.
