To get to know us better, please visit our website for the most current happenings in our amazing and diverse district: www.middletownk12.org Middletown Township Public Schools is looking for the following qualified Teacher for the Alternate School Intervention Program Anticipated Alternate School Intervention Program 9/30/2026 - 6/30/2027 Requirements and Qualifications: NJ Secondary Teaching Certificate required, ie. English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and/or Teacher of the Handicapped required NJ School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or School Counseling certificate preferred High School teaching experience preferred Understanding of NJ Student Learning Standards and differentiation of instruction preferred Knowledge of academic intervention strategies preferred Experience with Intervention and Referral Services (strong understanding of effective emotional and academic interventions) preferred Ability to provide social skills support and skill based instruction to students preferred Knowledge of ADA and 504 Accommodation Plans preferred Evidence of effective counseling skills for regular and special education students preferred The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
