Continuing Education Part-Time HVAC Apprentice Instructor 2026-27

DESCRIPTION: MCVSD Continuing Education department has an anticipated opening for a part-time Continuing Education HVAC-R Instructor who is a NJ Licensed HVAC technician to instruct adults enrolled in our registered training program for apprenticeship. The course content includes concepts such as troubleshooting systems and components, concepts of fluid handling; cooling towers and indoor air quality. Classes meet on campus two evenings and one evening online during the week for 3 hours per session for a total of 100 sessions per year September - June. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 5-10 years employment experience in design, repair, installation of residential/commercial HVAC systems is required. Teaching experience (preferred) Excellent written and technical communication skills Experience with ESCO training materials and Job Readiness exams (preferred) Licensed in refrigerant handling (608, 410A, etc) COMPENSATION: $40.00 per hour; benefits n/a EOE/AA
