Transportation Supervisor

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective transportation of the district’s public, nonpublic/private, special education, and other eligible student populations. The Transportation Supervisor serves as the district’s authorized representative for student transportation matters and works closely with contracted transportation providers, District administrators, school personnel, families, the Intermediate Unit, outside educational programs, and regulatory agencies. The Transportation Supervisor exercises independent judgment in transportation decisions, following consultation with the Director of Business and transportation contractors when appropriate.
